Day 2

This morning we visted two places of interest right on our doorstep. The Temple of Debod( given to the Spanish people by Egypt) and a very interesting and opulent house called Museo Cerraibo
Then we headed down to meet our guide , went into Plaza Mayor and then on to a full tour of the Royal Palace . Incredibly opulent and interesting.
After a mini siesta we set off on our evening tapas tour with our guide Daniel . Met some nice people and sampled a variety of tapas in some very old and established tapas bars. Also tried Spanish vermouth at 17% proof ( thank goodness we only had one of those ) and a very flat cider which again is a Spanish specialty and also had very nice tinto verano.Läs mer
