The Turquoise Trail

Tom, Denise and I ventured north on the Turquoise Trail toward Santa Fe. We passed many ranches and stopped at the Henderson Store in Golden, NM. We continued on to the town of Madrid, a very small town full of fun quirky shops. We had a delicious lunch of smoked pork BBQ sandwiches and sweet potato fries. Then back to the Henderson Store for a few purchases. There are yellow flowers blooming everywhere. They are chamisa. The big tree in front of the store is a cottonwood.Læs mere
