Sandia Crest

Today we drove up through the Cibola National Forest to the top of the Sandia Crest. As we got higher up the mountain we saw pinon pine and aspen. We saw a chipmunk and 2 mule deer. Two spectacular views from the top. Both facing west, the first one shows Albuquerque. Altitude 10,678 feet
Heading back down we stopped at Tinkertown Museum. Ross Ward's life's work of hand carved animated miniature scenes. He had a circus, an entire wild west town and much, much more. One last stop at a flea market, craft shop type of place in Edgewood. We have had fabulous weather for two days. 50's at night and 70's during the day.Leggi altro
