    Yesterday, we dove headfirst into the unexpected treasure trove that is Gdańsk. Between its proud Hanseatic roots, bustling port, and its somber claim to fame as the spark that lit the fire of World War II, Gdańsk serves up a cocktail of charm, grit, and soul in every cobbled street.

    We wandered beyond the city center too. First stop: Westerplatte, the very spot where Germany kicked off the madness of WWII. Standing there, it’s impossible not to feel the weight of history… Heavy stuff.

    But then, like emotional rollercoaster pros, we shifted gears and floated into Oliwa—a peaceful neighboring town that felt like a gentle hug after all that intensity. There, we stumbled upon a dreamy park and a cathedral so majestic! Just as we were soaking in the calm, the massive organ began playing the Wedding March—and BAM! Instant goosebumps combined with shame having bombed a wedding 😱😃
