Fountains and Piazzas

As advised by many we got up early today and went straight to Trevi Fountain. We missed the bus just for a couple of minutes so we ended up taking a taxi for 7 euros. We arrived there at around 7:20am and as expected there were just some 20 people there.

We took some photos, had a rest and then made our way to the Spanish steps. The walk is nice and along some tipical roma streets with photo opportunity at every corner.

There were even less people at the steps and we rested here. We were then in need of breakfast but most of the places were closed and the few opened were offering pizzas, not our idea of breakfast so we headed back to the hotel for breakfast there.

In the afternoon we went to the piazza dei popolo just to find there was an anti-government demonstration so we quickly got out of there and went back to piazza di spagna that was now ridiculously packed with tourist, thanks god we went in the morning.
