A day without mochila!
We slept in, and then wandered around Granada.
We visited the Palacio Dar al-Horra, the crowded Mirador de San Nicolás, the Casa Horno de Oro, the Bañuelo (we loved the stars!). On Laurie's suggestion, we also went to the Madraza, with its mihrab (oratory) from the 14th century, and the ornate doorway.
We roamed around more streets, and had lunch in a great little restaurant, run by an Algerian lady, who spoke French. The food was delicious!Read more

TravelerIn Granada, there is so much tourism that without trying to find out where we came from, people would speak in English to us. I would answer in Spanish (because I want to practice), or for fun, tell them we didn't understand English, could they speak French 😄
