Wolf Creek Crater

The crater was created 300,000 years ago when a 50,000 t meteor became a meteorite. Officially second largest behind the crater in Arizona. It has been steadily filling in but well worth the look.Baca lagi

Derby is a small town with a 50% indigenous population, crime rates are high. Derby was our staging point to Horizontal Falls and the Gibb River Road.

No visit to Derby would be complete without a quick run along the Gibb River Road. As the road had recently been graded it was more like a highway than a 4WD trip.

We went to try to find our old house, went to the tracking station, out to the blow holes and to Red Bluff.
