PodróżnikIt was a really fascinating experience though so I am so glad we went!! Just learning so much about the regional politics, seeing the crazy driving, the amount of people with guns, the crazy shops ( I think it’s the largest or second largest district of shopping centres in the world ). It was like India meets South America. We were lucky our guide knew how to beat the traffic and he made it a fun experience - we even helped him pick out some stuffed animals for his wife and daughter.

This is a very confusing photo for scale. Are those capybaras? If so then capybaras are much bigger than I thought! And if they are, are they wild ones? [Roxanne]
PodróżnikYeah they are! There were about 20 in that one area. I have no idea what the art thing is, they didn't explain it. But they were wild, easily bigger then an average sized dog. I wish the bus stopped so we could get a better photo, but I'm assuming they just take it for granted now and keep driving as nothing special.
