After working out the tram, I headed to our hotel for the night. Checked in at 8:00, then straight off out into the night to grab some dinner.
I had some Pide, a pizza like bake which I knew from Germany. It was the simplest thing to order, especially in a mall food court, with plenty of pictures... hopefully I'll be more adventurous tomorrow. Managed a few basic conversations.
Highlight was hearing the muezzin call to prayer, the adhan, when I arrived. Was less of a highlight when I heard it in the early hours of the morning, but still exciting to be in the thick of it!Læs mere
