Lagos - Praia da Luz

We have found a fabulous site here with fantastic facilities - indoor swimming pool, gym, yoga classes, aqua aerobics etc and have decided to stay for a week to make the most of it all.
We walked into P da L for a mooch and took the coastal path westward for a while. Very much a holiday area with Irish and UK bars and the most common language spoken seemed to be English.
The cold northerly wind has taken the edge off the daily temperatures but the beach was still occupied with people in the sea.
We did a lot of walking and cycling in the area - into Lagos etc. Karen made use of the Aqua Gym and Yoga classes. Alan took the road bike out for a jaunt to Sagres. The walk from Lagos along the cliffs back to Praia da Luz was quite spectacular.
The farmers market in Lagos was fabulous full of locally grown fruit and veg.Read more
