    At the 23rd floor of the Centec Tower there is a rooftop bar/ restaurant with a wonderful view over Ho Chi Minh City. It's nice to have a break up there without sweating.

    Nha Trang

    From Ho Chi Minh City we took an airplane and arrived at the nearest airport of Nha Trang around 25 km in the outback. The city is a beach town with all the tourists who like to stay at the beach for two weeks and fly back home. So not many sightseeing here only the old cham towers and the long son pagode are quite nice.Read more

    Hôi An

    From Nha Trang we took a sleeping bus from the company Sinh Tourist for 11 hours and arrived even a bit earlier than 6 am. Hôi An isa really nice old city with a lot of history. It feels like you are walking through a filmset not an actual town. Really good restaurants with traditional food can be found everywhere. If it is too hot for sightseeing than renting bicycles to go to the beach is a nice alternative.Read more

    After Hôi An we had the feeling of being in a bigger city again. The most interesting sights in Hue is the citadel where you spend approximatley half of the day depending on how hot it is. The city itself is not so interesting in my opinion. Lots of reconstructions right now. But i can reccommend eating in the lien hoa restaurant where no waiter speaks english but where locals and monchs have dinner so a great atmosphere and a lot to see there.
    I definitely can't recommend the DMZ tour that we book through our hotel! We stopped at horrible sights and had a flat wheel included.    Read more

    Son Trach/ Phong Nha

    The village next to the Phong Nha Ke Bang Nationalpark is actually just one road with houses that are hostels, travel agencys or karaoke bars. I can't really recommend the hostel we stayed at: tanh phat hotel. Our bathroom had no glass in the window so .... And they sold us a overpriced tour to the paradiescave that was even more expensive than one from Hue!!!! So i would suggest booking from hue and not staying in that town! You can also start longer trips through the park from there!
    The paradies cave itself is nice and bigger than expected! It is made for tourist groups to visit but we were lucky and it wasn't crowded at all. If we would have had more time i would have prefered to go to the dark cave because the swimming aspect would have been nice as well.    Read more
