Puffins

This morning Andrew set off across the sea on a boat trip to the Farne Islands. This time back to Inner Farne, as Staple Island is not yet open to visitors.

Sarah and Edward walked up to some benches overlooking the harbour and waved to Andrew as his boat left. While another baby, a similar age to Edward did make the trip, Edward’s parents didn’t like the idea and so Sarah remained ashore (Sarah’s treat comes tomorrow).

There was quite a swell and the boat was tossed around a bit but it was still a pleasant trip. The lighting was bright but diffuse which allowed for some good photos of the puffins on the island.

Andrew returned mid-afternoon to news that Edward had been a very good boy while his daddy had been away.Leia mais
