Ciao Ciao Dolomiti

We were up and at ‘em by 6:00a this morning. Check out wasn’t until 11:00a, but we wanted to get on the road early enough to make the most of the time we had set aside to explore Bolzano before hopping on the train back to Bologna.

Having completed most of the packing yesterday, there was nothing to delay us. A quick breakfast … and we were on the road by 8:00a.

Our route back to Bolzano was one that we’d not driven before and took us through Val Gardena … thus completing the loop. Beautiful scenery. Crowded towns that felt like big cities. Lots of traffic. We had looked at basing ourselves in this region. Now, we’re glad we didn’t.もっと詳しく
