Bergen: At the Apartment

We went to sleep to the rain pitter-pattering on the terrace. If it stopped at any point after midnight … well, we were asleep.

We woke up this morning to rain pitter-pattering on the terrace. At times heavy; at times barely a drizzle. Filmy clouds wreathed the hills across the way … as well as those behind our building.

An easy morning was part of today’s plans so we didn’t mind the rain one bit. With the thermostat turned up just a bit to ward off the morning chill in the apartment, we were cozy.

As the morning progressed, the skies started to brighten. We saw a few patches of blue amongst the clouds that never entirely went away. We even had a glimmer of sunshine at one point.

With the rain drying up, it was time to head out … with no real plan but to wander around the city.Read more
