We arrived at Dai Zemei when it was largely empty, save for a very happy older Italian lady who livened the place up by playing with the saxophonist Santa Claus toy at the bar. Trying six more cicheti here have plenty of variety - Shrimp, anchovy and onions, spicy sardines, gorgonzola and chilli jam, parmesan and mushroom, sardine and cream of artichoke, along with a lovely house wine. Having filled up on cicheti, we made tracks back over the Rialto and towards the hotel after a long day.Read more
