Great drive on single track road down Glen Nevis. Hiked up Nevis Gorge to Steall Falls (120m high - 390ft). Rivers in spate and waterfalls everywhere rushing down the mountains, one positive for allLes mer
Wind blowing a hooley but decided to stay here the night for the views. Great Glen Way trail is across the road, so walked out to the top hill for the great views over Loch Tarff and Loch Knockie.
Great walk round Foyers village on the east shore of Loch Ness, no sign of Nessie. Back up the hill to the Falls, strangely not much water flowing despite the recent rain.
Camp for the night at the Falls car park, white noise of the falls meant the robins were singing louder. Torrent upstream and calm downstream, dark peaty water probably where the name came from. GreatLes mer
