CAMINO DE SANTIAGO

THIS IS THE DAY HE HAS MADE (for me), AND I WILL REJOICE IN IT... made it 800 kilometers.
Rejsende
You’re keeping that youthful look about you. 😉 you look good! Inner Peacefulness!
RejsendeFrom the map, you seem to have covered quite a distance today. Is it about the same distance daily or does it vary depending upon the terrain?
RejsendeThanks Renée, I am holding up pretty well. The distance was a little longer, the difference for today was the climbing. Glad I was able to get something from the pharmacy. Slept well. Today will be good.
RejsendeI know that climbing uphill on the Camino can be quite difficult. How about the downhill, the effect on the knees? Are your knees holding up? By the way, I am soooo impressed. You are doing great and are meeting so many interesting people from around the world - AND turning them into FRIENDS.
You sonetimes mistakenly overlook that the downhill part coming off a mountain requires an equal amount, sonetimes more effort. I totally agregó with Robyn, that going downhill can be just as strenuous. [Vernon]
