All but six of us went to Abu Simbel. We stayed behind to walk around. Not the brightest idea as it is about 100 but we shopped in local market and saw some sights.

Took a felucca ride around Elephantine Island. Then afternoon tea at the Palace (I forget the name) but gorgeous. Tea nothing like ours though. View was spectacular.
Just some fun shots of our evening out on felucca. We had to be motored into the dock as the wind died.
Had a nice bus/motorboat ride to Philaes Temple. Then another motorboat ride to Nubian Village where we were entertained by local Nubians. We danced!!!
Just sitting on sun deck drinking my lemon with mint afternoon drink watching the shores of the Nile.....
We docked at Kom Obo for a short walk to the temple and crocodile museum.
The walk we took in Aswan (in 102 degrees) with Jorge who lives in Sarasota (about five miles from Dana).
Traveler Believe it or not, I have a DVD that shows how to roll towels like that.
