Sizilien, wir kommen! ☀️
Es begann mit der Fährüberfahrt nach Messina und somit nach Sizilien. Dort angekommen, suchten wir uns einen Campingplatz. Obwohl er gute Bewertungen hatte, war die Ausstattung nicht so prickelnd. Zum Ankommen und erstmal Sonne tanken hat es aber gereicht. Am Sonntag gönnten wir uns leckere Crêpes und eine erfrischende Granita 🍦 in einem Café am Strand.
Da wir so nah am beeindruckenden Ätna waren, ließen wir uns einen Besuch natürlich nicht entgehen. Mit der Gondel ging es hoch hinaus. Die Luft wurde dünner und die Sonne strahlte hell. Oben angekommen, war alles voller Schnee und Eis. Die anschließende Fahrt mit dem Auto den Berg hinunter war dann aber sehr abenteuerlich, da die Straße größtenteils nur noch aus groben Steinen bestand.
Als Nächstes fuhren wir nach Catania. Dort ließen wir uns mit einer wohltuenden Massage verwöhnen und genossen am Abend ein super leckeres Essen. Es gab verschiedene Fisch-Antipasti und köstliche Muschelpasta 🤤.

Our adventure started with the ferry crossing to Messina, and thus, to Sicily. Once there, we looked for a campsite. Although it had good reviews, the facilities weren't that great. However, it was sufficient for arriving and soaking up the sun. On Sunday, we treated ourselves to delicious crêpes and a refreshing granita 🍦 at a café on the beach.
Since we were so close to the impressive Mount Etna, we naturally didn't miss the opportunity to visit it. We took the cable car up high. The air became thinner, and the sun shone brightly. Once we arrived at the top, everything was covered in snow and ice. The subsequent drive down the mountain, however, was very adventurous, as the road mostly consisted of rough stones.
Next, we drove to Catania. There, we treated ourselves to a soothing massage and enjoyed a super delicious dinner in the evening. We had various fish antipasti and delicious mussel pasta 🤤. Czytaj więcej
