Dalat, vietnam

Still not feeling great, and the smells of food is making new nauseated.
Da Lat has some nice and interesting place though!
Back from Da Lat

Back to HCMC. Almost feeling better again after 3 days of feeling poopy. Didn't take many photos or anything in Da Lat.
Tooth implant

Had first part of my tooth Implant today. They screw the metal into your bone with a ratchet wrench. I felt like i was having my spark plugs changed or something.
After that I visited the WarLeer más
Cyborg

Finished my tooth implant, it feels pretty good, like a natural tooth almost. I think he colour matched it to the yellow on my orher teeth though, not sure why he would do that. Oh well, I'm justLeer más
Ho Chi Minh city

Haven't updated in a while, so I'll just post some things from Vietnam since I'm currently on a flight to Tokyo.
Spent some time doing some things around the city, went to Mui Ne and Phan Thiet for aLeer más
Mui Ne, PhanThiet

Mui Ne is a nice coastal town of resorts owned by Russians, and overpriced (by Vietnamese standards) seafood. There was one nice swimming beach though, with surfboard rental. I think without surfing ILeer más
Cu Chi Tunnels

Lots of bus riding to get here, but was interesting to see how the people of the area had to live during the American war. Apparently they lived in the tunnels during the day to escape American bombs,Leer más
Beach at

Super crowded beach here, I think half of Ho Chi Minh city was there. Nice warm waves to play in, and they probably weren't warm for the same reason that paddling pools are lol. Ate seafood on theLeer más
Tokyo Flight

Well it's a good thing I checked my flights last night, because originally I was supposed to leave at 0200, but the changed flight was for 0800, so I would have head a bit of a wait. Any way, I'mLeer más
Taito, Japan

Stayed in a nice hostel in Taito, Tokyo. Tokyo is so quiet and clean, especially after HoChiMinh. Took a walk from the hostel to the Skytree to Asakusa. 25C great day for a walk.
Tokyo, Japan

Tokyo, the awesome most city on earth I think. So huge and has something for everyone I think. Went to Akihabara, (electronics town) and went to the museum of future and emerging technologies. I haveLeer más
Osaka, Japan

I've been told that Osaka is like a compact Tokyo, but I don't think it's anything like Tokyo. It's a little dirty, feels smaller, a little older, and not quite as exciting. Not that it's not worthLeer más
Osaka, Japan

Osaka also has a cool castle, and the tallest building in Japan. I never went to the top of the building because it's cost 1500Yen (18CAD) AND I'm cheap. But it looked cool from the ground, and theLeer más
Kyoto

Came to Kyoto yesterday, but was so cold I just stayed in bed. I'm staying in a traditional style guesthouse, so there is no heat aside from a kerosene heater so, getting out of bed it's a chore here!Leer más
Kyoto, more!

Today I walked. And walked. About 9 hours of walking. It was worth it though; there is so much you miss if you only take transportation.
Kyoto is a nice city, but totally different than I expected.Leer más

Arashiyama, Kyoto

I like Arashiyama, it's on the outskirts of Kyoto, feels more like a small town than part of a large city. Of course, like all of Kyoto's tourist areas it was full of tourist, but still nice. On theLeer más
Farming Hokyo, Nantan City

For the past two weeks I have been working on a vegetable charm about 30 km from Kyoto. It's mostly traditional style farming, and hard manual work, but satisfying. The best part is that I get to eatLeer más
Kyoto, Japan

On my day off this week I went back to Kyoto. It's such a fantastic city, and this time the sakura had begun to bloom! So exciting, it's something I've wanted to see for a long time!

The day was so warm, many people were out in yukata and kimono selfying (is that a verb now??) And having wedding photos taken in really amazing wedding kimono. Also there were many maiko girls, andLeer más
