Quarré-les-Tombes

Nach einer weiteren spektakulären Fahrt durch die Cevennen, von denen die Bilder der tiefen Schluchten und der schroffen Berge eine ausführliche Geschichte erzählen, hatte der Abendhimmel über Rosières, wo wir übernachtet haben, noch ne eigene Lichtschau zu bieten.

Am Morgen ist dafür der Nebel verantwortlich, der mit der Sonne herrliche Bilder uns in den Weg stellt. Wir sind früh unterwegs, weil wir heute dreihundertfünfzig Kilometer vor uns haben, die uns den ganzen Tag beschäftigten, weil der Landstraßendurchschnitt sich bei sechzig Kilometer pro Stunde einpendelt.

Die Zeit drängt nicht unbedingt, aber es gibt diesen langweiligeren Teil der Landschaft zwischen Clermont-Ferrand und Dijon, zumindest wenn du auf der Durchreise bist. Und ja, es geht nach Deutschland zurück, wo wir diverse Verabredungen haben, bevor zumindest Hilde und ich wieder in den Süden aufbrechen wollen, sofern der blaue Bus mitkommt.

Aber das ist eine andere Geschichte.

After another spectacular drive through the Cevennes, whose pictures of deep gorges and rugged mountains tell a detailed story, the evening sky over Rosières, where we spent the night, had its own light show to offer.

In the morning, the fog is responsible for the beautiful scenery, creating stunning images in the sunlight. We set off early because we have 350 kilometers ahead of us today, which will keep us busy all day, as the average speed on the country roads settles at 60 kilometers per hour.

Time isn't exactly pressing, but there is this rather dull stretch of countryside between Clermont-Ferrand and Dijon, at least if you're just passing through. And yes, we're heading back to Germany, where we have various appointments before Hilde and I, at least, plan to head south again, provided the blue bus makes it.
