Starting from Beijing Railway Station at 08.52. Back to BJ with one hour delay. ETA 21.20 pm
tiananmen Square, the entrance to the Forbidden City (biggest square in the world), surrounded by official buildings like 'the palace of the people'.
The obligatory Rickshaw ride took us through "the Hutons" which are a group of narrow streets and alleyways dating back to 256BC. We were invited into a local's house for a traditional chinese lunch.

I think we know how I feel about Beijing by now.
To say some positive things about it I would say the food was pretty good. Also the Great Wall is definitely worth a visit.

So many buses .. such little time !
Another 15 hrs ahead of us. It ended up being 16hrs of very cold , freezing fun !
