    Selkirk to Galashiels

    Dropped the car in Galashiels (free parking on Sunday) and took the bus to Selkirk. A quick coffee in the marketplace we set off on the Borders Abbeys Way.

    Wildlife spots today: an owl, a hare, orange spot butterflies, dippers, a pair of goosanders.

    Dragged Julia along a tricky riverside path towards the end. Thankfully it ended where I hoped, on the southern upland way path.    Read more
