Wine Tasting

As a birthday gift we went the extra mile and booked an amazing wine estate tour with the Franschhoek Wine Tram inkl. a delicious wine pairing.

At 10 o’clock we arrived at Frenschhoek Terminal and afer a cup of coffee we drove to Mont Rochelle for breakfast and wine pairing.

By Tram we drove to the next eastate for lunch but before that we enjoyed MCC with truffel pairing.
The chocolate was almost as good as in Switzerland.

MCC is short for: Methode Cup Classic, also known as „Bubbles“ the „Champagner“ of South Africa.

We enjoyed lunch at „Grande Profence Plattform“. A lovely surprise was the sculpture garden as well as a big art gallery and I had a nice chat with an artist.

Our last stopp for this day was Haute Cabriere Estate.
They leed us vo in a wonderfull wine and MCC cellar. And an expert opened the MCC bottle with a saber it was awsome.

At the top we had dessert and wine pairing combined with a beautiful view uppon valley and mountains.Read more
