    🇬🇧 Winter is here
    Hi guys!
Here's some news from New Zealand! Yesterday was the first official winter day here, it’s starting to get chilly but we’re armed against the cold. We're still in the Christchurch area, and are currently in Prebbleton for the night. We've just come back from an Irish Pub, where we had a drink with Steve, a New Zealander we met there. It’s amazing to meet the locals and to see how friendly and welcome the people are.
These days, we spend most of our time looking for work. We often go to libraries, where we can do our research in peace. We'd like to find work for the winter, so we can save a bit and travel during the warmer months. We've had some feedback about kitchen jobs in ski resorts, but nothing definite. We also have an interview tomorrow for a job in a campsite. Fingers crossed!
We've been sleeping in Bongo for a week now, so we're getting used to it! We're trying to find the nicest places to sleep. We went to a sewage station to empty our waste water, and Emily took the opportunity to refresh Bongo in a car wash. We bought a new mattress today, so it's much more comfortable! We usually take our showers in public swimming pools or sports centers, which cost 2 dollars per person, or about 1 euro, so it's cheap! Last time, we decided to take a Bodypump class. What a mistake! We've been aching all over for two days now!
We also discovered a market in Christchurch, the Riverside market, full of street food stalls. We ate Nepalese momos, souvlakis and really good crepes!
We hope to share some good news with you soon!
