aufstieg zum ersten pass und noch etwas weiter für die beste pulverschneeausgangslage…
runter juchzen zum ersten…
exklusivere spitzkehren in ein couloir hoch…
runter stüben zum zweiten…
via skigebiet und dank beschneiten pisten komfortabel mit den ski bis auf 1200m runter zur busstation fahren…
erfreulich einfache bus- und zug-reise mit spektakulären mont Blanc panoramen bis nach Chamonix…
kontrastprogramm mit internationalem flair, unterschiedlichen tenues und vielen fotosujets…

Packed up and sitting at the top of the mountain one last time before we head down.

Out of all 37 hot chocolates I've had this trip, this is possibly the most decadent 😂

Finishing off with a 2 hour bus drive to Geneva, short flight to Paris and then we head home on our buckets with seat belts and an old iPod for inflight entertainment 👍Read more

Snowboard 2025 comes to an end!!

There is a curse that comes after someone says "last run", everything could been going splendidly and the second someone says the magic words all hell breaks loose....NOT THIS TIME!! No one said the words and everyone made it to the end safely 😂 no torn rotator cuffs or dislocated elbows! 🥳

The last two days of snowboarding have been amazing. Yesterday was the best day of snowboarding I've ever had and was very quickly topped by today.

It's hard to describe the sound of groomed snow under the board - very scratchy and creaky, but the second that board hits the soft snow everything goes quite and all you hear is the wind. The vibration in your boots and bindings stops, the fear of catching a edge disappears and you just glide across the mountain.

I've got a few pics of us up and about the mountain but I wasn't brave enough to hold my phone and video while gliding over a cloud 😁Read more

Nach einer ziemlich frischen Nacht – trotz Fliesschlafsack und Decke – habe ich den Vormittag genutzt, um meinen Camper besser kennenzulernen. Gas, Wasser, Pumpe, Standheizung... ein kleines Technik-Abenteuer auf vier Rädern! Danach hab ich mir ganz entspannt ein sonniges Plätzchen gesucht und endlich mein Reisetagebuch begonnen.
Am Nachmittag ging’s dann auf Entdeckungstour: eine traumhafte Wanderung entlang des Flusses Giffre, der direkt an meinem Stellplatz vorbeifließt – wie gemacht für eine Portion Naturglück. Den Tag habe ich wieder in Taninges ausklingen lassen, mit zwei ganz besonderen Highlights: einem "Friedhof" für ausrangierte Skigondeln – skurril und faszinierend, und weil’s einfach dazu gehört, gab’s im Café Central noch einen stilvollen Apéro.
Abends stand Premiere in meiner kleinen Camperküche an – und siehe da: Alles funktioniert, das Kochen läuft! Für die kommende Nacht bin ich nun besser vorbereitet: mit Zusatzschlafsack, langen Ärmeln und der Gewissheit, dass Abenteuer auch gemütlich sein dürfen.Read more

Woke up this morning and still couldn't see a thing outside but it was no longer break day, so we had to brave this new world, and my god am I glad we did 🤩

The snow was insane!!! Honestly the best snowboarding experience I've ever had in my life (which to be fair isn't many experiences😂). I've got lots of photos and videos so I might need to split the videos over two foot prints

Back at the same dinner spot smashing our faces with another pizza!!

Got back from our short outing and had some more hot chocolate (of course we did), followed by Limon cello (2nd best to gin 😉)

Decided we might need some low light goggles for tomorrow if the weather continues, while we were shopping I did a little photo shot with my new watch (featuring my dad's new watch aswell 😁)Read more

Decided we wouldn't know what it's like to snowboard in this weather if we didn't try - I can confirm that our suspicions were correct 😂

But I seem to remember some young Emirates pilot saying something along the lines of "GO DO SOMETHING FOR THE FIRST TIME"
