    In the evening we visited the famous Brandenburg Gate, one of Germany’s most iconic landmarks. Even from a distance the historic monument impressed us with its beautiful architecture. The gate was built in the 18th century and today stands as a symbol of freedom and unity. It was especially fascinating to stand at a place that was once directly next to the Berlin Wall. Many tourists were taking pictures and enjoying the special atmosphere around Pariser Platz. The Quadriga on top of the gate looked particularly impressive in the evening light. Around the Brandenburg Gate there was a lively atmosphere with street musicians and many visitors. It was fascinating to experience Berlin’s history so closely at this place. The illuminated buildings around the square created a wonderful evening atmosphere. Visiting the Brandenburg Gate was the perfect start to our Berlin trip.

  • 🏛️Reichstag

    Afterwards we continued to the Reichstag Building, the seat of the German Bundestag. The large historic building immediately impressed us with its modern glass dome and monumental architecture. The combination of historical importance and modern politics was especially interesting. Many visitors were walking around the area and learning more about German history. The Reichstag played an important role in many historical events in Germany. In the evening the building was beautifully illuminated and we took many memorable photos. The modern glass dome symbolizes transparency and democracy and is one of Berlin’s most famous sights. Around the Reichstag we could also see several other government buildings. The atmosphere in the government district felt calm yet very impressive. Visiting the Reichstag Building was another highlight of our first day in Berlin.

  • 🚎East Side Gallery (Bustour)

    On the second day of our Berlin trip we visited the famous East Side Gallery. During the bus tour we learned many interesting facts about the history of the Berlin Wall. The East Side Gallery is the longest remaining section of the Berlin Wall and today an impressive open-air art gallery. The colorful graffiti and artworks created by international artists were especially fascinating. Every painting told its own story about freedom, hope and Germany’s transformation. Of course the famous “Fraternal Kiss” mural was one of the highlights. The atmosphere along the wall was very unique and many visitors were taking photos everywhere. It was fascinating to experience history and modern art at the same time. The East Side Gallery is definitely one of Berlin’s most interesting places. The bus tour was a great way to learn more about the city’s past.

  • 🏛️Madame Tussauds

    Afterwards we visited Madame Tussauds Berlin near the Brandenburg Gate. Right from the entrance we were excited to see all the famous wax figures. It was amazing how realistic the figures looked. We took many funny photos with international stars, politicians and athletes. Of course we also took pictures with famous German personalities. The different themed areas were exciting and very entertaining. One of the coolest things was being able to stand directly next to the figures. Many of them almost looked like real people. The mix of entertainment, history and pop culture made the visit a real highlight. Madame Tussauds was definitely a fun and unforgettable experience.

  • 🪩Club Matrix

    In the evening we went to the famous Club Matrix in Berlin. As soon as we entered we could immediately feel the exciting party atmosphere. The club was large, modern and full of people from different countries. The music changed between current chart hits, house music and party classics. The light shows and the loud atmosphere on the dance floor were especially impressive. Many people partied until late at night and the mood was fantastic. We spent several hours dancing, enjoying the music and having fun together. At that time Club Matrix was one of the best-known clubs for young people and school trips in Berlin. Despite the crowds we had an amazing evening. The party night was definitely one of the highlights of our trip.

  • 🏛️The Story of Berlin

    Am dritten Tag unserer Berlin-Reise besuchten wir das Museum „The Story of Berlin“. Das Museum zeigte die spannende Geschichte Berlins von den Anfängen bis zur modernen Hauptstadt. Besonders interessant war die Ausstellung über die Zeit der Berliner Mauer und des Kalten Krieges. Viele interaktive Bereiche machten den Rundgang abwechslungsreich und spannend. Wir konnten historische Gegenstände, Fotos und originale Dokumente aus verschiedenen Epochen sehen. Ein Highlight war der originale Atomschutzbunker unter dem Museum, den wir ebenfalls besichtigten. Dort bekamen wir einen Eindruck davon, wie Menschen sich während des Kalten Krieges vorbereitet hatten. Die Mischung aus Geschichte, Technik und persönlichen Geschichten machte den Besuch sehr eindrucksvoll. Während des Rundgangs lernten wir viele neue Dinge über die Entwicklung Berlins. Das Museum war definitiv eine interessante und lehrreiche Erfahrung.

  • 🏛️Potsdam Sanssouci Park

    On the fourth day of our trip we visited the beautiful Sanssouci Park in Potsdam. The huge park immediately impressed us with its well-kept gardens, wide pathways and historic buildings. The park is especially famous for Sanssouci Palace, which once served as the summer residence of Frederick the Great. During our walk we discovered many impressive fountains, statues and flower gardens. The peaceful atmosphere in the park was a nice change from the busy city life of Berlin. From the terraces we had a wonderful view over the entire area. Everywhere in the park you could feel the long history and the special charm of Potsdam. Many visitors enjoyed the sunny weather and took photos in front of the historic buildings. Visiting Sanssouci Park was both relaxing and very interesting. The trip to Potsdam was definitely one of the most beautiful moments of our journey.
