    🕌Selimiye Mosque

    Our first stop in Türkiye was the magnificent Selimiye Mosque in Edirne. It was built in the 16th century by the famous Ottoman architect Mimar Sinan and is considered his greatest masterpiece. Even from a distance, its four elegant minarets dominate the city's skyline. The enormous central dome is an architectural marvel and immediately catches the eye. Inside, beautiful calligraphy, colorful İznik tiles, and intricate decorations create a truly unique atmosphere. Walking through this UNESCO World Heritage Site was an unforgettable experience. Despite the number of visitors, the mosque felt peaceful and welcoming. After the long drive, this cultural stop was exactly what we needed. We took our time admiring the architecture, taking photos, and enjoying the moment. It was the perfect beginning to our journey through Türkiye and a place we will always remember.

    🕌Reşadiye Mosque

    In the afternoon, we visited the impressive Reşadiye Mosque in the heart of Eskişehir. It is one of the city's best-known landmarks and immediately stands out with its elegant architecture and two slender minarets. The current mosque was built in 1978 in the style of classical Ottoman architecture. Its large central dome and beautiful decorative details make it an eye-catching landmark. Inside, we found a peaceful atmosphere filled with elegant ornaments and stunning calligraphy. Despite being located in the busy city center, the mosque feels like a quiet sanctuary. Around the mosque, lively streets with cafés and small shops reflected everyday life in Eskişehir. We spent some time taking photos and admiring the beautiful architecture. It was fascinating to experience the blend of modern city life and traditional culture in one place. Visiting the Reşadiye Mosque was a wonderful introduction to another memorable day in Eskişehir.

    Our first stop was Esminiatürk, a charming miniature park in Eskişehir. It features detailed scale models of famous landmarks from all across Türkiye. Walking through the park felt like taking a journey around the country in just one afternoon. We were impressed by the incredible craftsmanship and attention to detail. Historic mosques, bridges, and iconic buildings reflected Türkiye's rich cultural heritage. The beautifully maintained gardens made the visit even more enjoyable. We frequently stopped to admire the models and take photos. The park is a wonderful place for families and anyone interested in Turkish history and architecture. Seeing so many famous landmarks gathered in one place was a unique experience. It was a relaxing and memorable start to our afternoon.

    Next, we visited the Turkic World Science, Culture and Art Center in Sazova Park. The center is dedicated to the shared history, traditions, and culture of the Turkic peoples. Even from the outside, the modern building was impressive. Inside, several exhibitions focused on science, art, and cultural heritage. Informative displays explained the development of the Turkic world in an engaging way. We especially enjoyed the traditional artwork and historical exhibits. Interactive multimedia displays made the visit both educational and entertaining. We spent plenty of time exploring the different exhibition areas. The visit offered fascinating insights into the diversity of Turkic cultures. It was an enriching stop during our day in Eskişehir.

    Sazova Science, Art and Culture Park

    In the evening, we explored the famous Sazova Science, Art and Culture Park, one of Eskişehir's most popular attractions. The spacious park combines nature, culture, and recreation in a unique setting. Its fairytale castle immediately caught our attention and is one of the city's most photographed landmarks. Beautiful walking paths, colorful flower beds, and large green spaces make the park perfect for a relaxing stroll. Families and visitors of all ages enjoyed the pleasant summer evening atmosphere. Besides the castle, the park also features a pirate ship, museums, and several attractions. Small lakes and charming bridges add to its peaceful scenery. During our walk, we kept discovering new beautiful corners and captured many memories with our camera. The warm evening sunlight made the entire park look even more magical. Sazova Park is truly a must-visit destination in Eskişehir.

    Kayiboyu Mosque

    Today, we traveled to Bilecik, a city with great importance in Ottoman history. Our first stop was the KayIboyu Mosque, which impressed us with its traditional architecture and peaceful atmosphere. The mosque reflects the simplicity and elegance of early Ottoman architectural style. It is closely connected to the history of the Kayı tribe, from which the Ottoman Empire later emerged. As we entered the mosque, we immediately felt the calm and spiritual atmosphere of this historic place. The beautiful details showed the importance of religious buildings in Ottoman culture. Walking around the mosque allowed us to experience the traditional character of Bilecik. It was fascinating to stand at a place connected to the origins of one of the world's greatest empires.     Our next visit took us to the tomb of Sheikh Edebali, one of the most important figures in early Ottoman history. Sheikh Edebali was a respected Islamic scholar and spiritual mentor of Osman I, the founder of the Ottoman Empire. He played an important role in shaping the values and philosophy of the early Ottomans. According to tradition, his advice greatly influenced Osman I during the foundation of the empire. The tomb is located on a hill and offers a beautiful view over Bilecik. The historic complex includes the mausoleum and peaceful areas for visitors to reflect. The atmosphere was calm, respectful, and deeply connected to history. Standing at a place linked to the birth of the Ottoman Empire was a fascinating experience.     Today we visited Yeşilyurt Village, a traditional village near Eskişehir. Away from the busy city life, we had the chance to experience the peaceful atmosphere of rural Türkiye. From the moment we arrived, we noticed the natural surroundings and the calm rhythm of village life. The green landscapes, small houses, and friendly people created a feeling of simplicity and tranquility. It was wonderful to see how the local community preserves traditions and remains closely connected to nature. During our walk through the village, we discovered different corners and enjoyed the authentic atmosphere. The warm hospitality of the villagers made the visit even more special. Places like Yeşilyurt show another side of Türkiye that is often missed in larger cities. We enjoyed taking a break from everyday life and appreciating the beauty of simple moments.     In the evening, we visited the impressive İnönü Caves, a fascinating natural area near Eskişehir.     Today, our journey took us to Söğüt to visit the tomb of Ertuğrul Gazi, one of the most important figures in Turkish history. His life represents an important connection between the Turkic tribes of Anatolia and the later rise of one of history’s greatest empires. The historic tomb is located in a peaceful setting and carries a deep sense of respect and heritage. From the moment we entered the complex, we could feel the importance this place still holds for many visitors today. Traditional elements around the mausoleum reflect the lifestyle and culture of that period. It was fascinating to stand at a location connected to the very beginnings of the Ottoman Empire.
