    Our first stop in Türkiye was the magnificent Selimiye Mosque in Edirne. It was built in the 16th century by the famous Ottoman architect Mimar Sinan and is considered his greatest masterpiece. Even from a distance, its four elegant minarets dominate the city's skyline. The enormous central dome is an architectural marvel and immediately catches the eye.
