Rio Grande the Big River 大河里奥格兰德

In the afternoon we arrived at Rio Grande, a colourful city of about 100,000 population. After checking in, we rested a little while, then went out for a quick sightseeing. By the Rio Grande Waterfront of the South Atlantic Ocean, there are the Monuments of Malvinas Heroes, commemorating the fallen soldiers of the Malvinas (“Falkland” by UK) war in 1982. Kids playground is located right next to the monuments.
The city is clean, with bi-directional traffic on wider streets and oneway traffic on narrower roads.
