Te Araroa - Tag 86

🇩🇪 Tag 86: 21,03 km Bush Stream Parkplatz - Stone Hut

Nach einem leckeren Frühstück wurden wir vom Shuttle abgeholt. Auf dem Weg zum Start der Wanderung wurde uns eine historische Kirche gezeigt und wir hatten durch Schafe 🐑 und Kühe 🐄 verursachten Stau auf der Straße 😊 Da wir spät gestartet sind, war es schon sehr warm. Der Weg durch am Bush Stream war daher sehr willkommen. Von der Schlucht ging es dann steil nach oben zur Crooked Spur Hut. Danach ging der Weg steil weiter auf einen Sattel. Von hier geht es durch hübsche Graslandschaft Richtung Stone Hut. Da schon eine 5-köpfige Familie da war, wurde es heute hier ziemlich eng.

After a tasty breakfast we were fetched up by our shuttle. On the way to the start of the hike we were shown a historical church and we had traffic jam on the street caused by sheep 🐑 and cows 🐄. 😊 As we started late, it was already very warm. Thus, the path along the Bush Stream was very welcome. From the gorge it steeply went up to Crooked Spur Hut. Afterwards the trail continued steeply to a saddle. From there we walked through beautiful gras landscape towards Stone Hut. As there was already a family of five, it got quite busy tonight.もっと詳しく
