Our 10:55pm was delayed several hours because of the rains. The inbound United plane was diverted to San Salvador before it arrived in Guatemala.

Day 1 Leaving New York City

We walked 1.5 blocks down to Manhattan terminal. Easy Peasy!
checkin was a breeze.
We had lunch in the main dining room. Wedge salad, fish and chips.

Day 2, 3 Sea Day & Halifax, Canada

Day 2 Beautiful sail-away; looked up at the airplanes flying overhead; sat on the deck; gorgeous night; even more gorgeous skyline; dinner with a Amelia and Jim and then comedy show - ok

Day 4,5,6,7,8 Sea days

We had Sea Days on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday. We skipped St. John’s Newfoundland because of high seas, so then had 5 Sea Days.

Day 9 Ponta Delgada Azores, Portugal

We had a 3 hour tour of the island. Our first stop was a pineapple plantation. Next was Fire Lake & Riberia Grande. Volcanic lake. Beautiful spot. Several look out spot.r

Day 10 and 11 Sea Days

Wednesday and Thursday were full of rough seas.
I was cross stitching early in the morning. Amelia comes up and we chat as we watch the sunrise. It was very very windy out on the deck. Glenn sleptWeiterlesen
Day 12 Caves of Nerja, Spain

Our NCL Excursion consisted of an hour tour of Caves of Nerja. Very impressive. The largest Column in the world is in this cave system. We walked and walked.

Day 13 Ibiza, Spain (island in Mediterra

We have a 4 hour tour to the UNESCO site -fortified city

Day 2 Palma Majorca, Spain (16)

We watched the ship dock at 6:30 this morning. I cross stitched and Glenn did his 30 min of bicycling. We went down to the main dining room for breakfast the. Got off this ship at 10am.

We kept waking up during the night to check on the elections. We slept through my normal routine at the Spinnaker and cross stitching.

We did our normal stuff. I cross stitched and had my devotions while the sun was rising and we were docking at Motril. Glenn did his bicycle thing.

Great day in Casablanca.
We took a 5 hour tour of Casablanca. We stopped at Hassan II mosque - built in just 8 years back in the 90’s. It has retracting doors that open up and down allowing lightWeiterlesen

We gained another hour. Now only 6 hours ahead of Dallas time.
We needed a SEA DAY, so we walked off the ship, took a little stroll through town. Took a few pictures,Weiterlesen

After watching the sunrise and docking into Tenerife along the NCL Dawn, we ate breakfast in the main dining room.

Day 9/10 Las Palmas Sea Day (23/24

Our las Palmas stop was very relaxed. We walked to a local mall then returned back to the ship. We had dinner and the show.

It was raining pretty hard this morning, so disembarking was kinda slow. I did my normal thing of cross stitching while Glenn was bicycling. We met Norma, an Avant missionary that lives near Cadiz.Weiterlesen

Our Friday port was canceled because of high winds to tender in. Glenn and I had a good breakfast in the dining room then we got our “envelopes” ready for Darla -excursions we will have in Africa.Weiterlesen

Sunday was a sea day. Glenn and I held the worship service at 9am- 19am. It was publishized in the Free style Daily. There were about 12 folks that showed up.

It was walk off and explore on your own kind of day. I was cross stitching when we approached Santa Cruz de La Palma. Beautiful volcano island. Steep ridges and beautiful landscape. Glenn also did hisWeiterlesen
Day 7 Las Palmas, Canary Island (31)

We watched the ship dock. We were here last week and just explored the dock area. Today, we walked off and explored the Aquarium. The owner is the same owner of Loro Parque.

Two much needed sea days.
Glenn and I enjoyed Saturday sea day by working a 500 piece puzzle all in one sitting. 2.5 hours. We left the puzzle on the table.

We met Dave and April at Total gasoline station - walking about 25 minutes from NCL SKY. Dave and April are Avant missionaries - both graduated from Moody! (2000 and 2001)
