David help GrandDad load up the little Scion car on the trailer, so tomorrow morning we’ll be ready to drive to Fisher and go to the weekend a Garage Sale.

After watching Home Alone, we cooked hamburgers out on the grill.

GrandDad also showered David how the black water worked.

Yesterday was a day of swimming and today we did some major garage saling.

I held Annie for 2 hours as she slept. I fell asleep too.

Lucy joined us in the RV for the afternoon. After a movie in the basement, Lucy stayed overnight. Emily stayed overnight last night and we played sequence.

During the afternoon, it stormed and lightening. And even in the evening, as laying in bed, the wind was pretty strong. The RV was rockin and rollin. Like being on a roller coast ride.En savoir plus

After a picnic dinner from Steaknshake we walked through some gardens.

We fed the gold fishes some cherrios.

As we were walking back the the car, we talked to 3 different Hispanic groups from Guatemala, Mexico and even Colombia.En savoir plus

Covid 19 testing

On June 22 we had lunch with Keith and Debbie Wilkerson in Longview,Texas.

Then...

On July 4 Keith had fever and flu-like symptoms. Only lasted a few days.

And....

On July 10 Keith was confirmed positive for COVID-19

So....

Today (taking all precautions) we went thru a free drive-thru testing location in Gibson City at the general hospital with Ellen, Luke and family. It was a simple 5 second swap up each nostril. Painless.

Now Glenn says “now we NOSE what we did on David’s 9th birthday!”

4 hours later we all received the Good news that we were all NEGATIVE. Thankful.

Well, its a WRAP! Grammie Camp 2.0 is in the books.
We were "boon docking" in Ellen's drive way for the past 7 days.
We slept in the RV, but used the facilities in the house.
One night we had ALL 4 kids in the RV.
Ellen and Luke got away for a few days.
Glenn was always working on small details of their house. He organized all the bicycles in the garage, hung up a ladder, swept out the garage. He also was under the kitchen sink and tightening up the faucet to make it more functional.

The washing machine was his biggest challenge. He looked at every option and even had a technician out to give him the diagnosis. Conclusion: purchase a new one. So on Friday, Glenn, David and Luke drove into Champaign, looked at different stores, and came back with a brand new washing machine. Now the task to install it.

Bob and Carol Evaul drove up 1 hour to see us. We ate at a legendary Route 66 diner in Litchfield. Wow, we talked about everyone we served with in Bolivia back in the 80’s and 90’s. We had a lot of laughs as we retold stories and adventures.

Then after popcorn for dinner, we attended a 80th Google Meet birthday party for Mary Royer.En savoir plus

After 1/2 day of meetings, we rested in the RV. I fell on the last step of the landing banging my head pretty bad. Head ache most of the day.
