Through the Storm

California did not fall into the ocean last night and this morning was warmer. Still rainy but not nearly as bad as yesterday afternoon. I decided I could drive on. The sun broke through in the afternoon. I decided to stop about 6:30. Comfort Inns and Motel 6 are pet friendly. Motel 6 is very basic, no microwave or coffee maker. But it is clean and has a laundry facility. This morning I noticed that some water had managed to get in the van last night. My sleeping bag and bedding was a bit wet. So I would need to get them dried out before I could sleep in vanette again. Tomorrow morning I will wash & dry everything and then head to Joshua Tree. That's my plan.Leggi altro
