Woke up to torrential rain. Waited it out before grabbing the pic of the Oklahoma capitol building, then swung north to Edmund to meet up with my friend. The same friend I stayed with outside Raleigh a few days ago 🤣. We're both heading to Amarillo for the HOG Route 66 West Touring Rally.
We narrowly avoided the other storm.cells along I-40 and made it into Amarillo this afternoon without incident.
We met the other 150-ish people at Tripp's HD for dinner, door prizes, and fellowship. So wonderful to see so many familiar faces.
This is going to be fun!!
