    In the morning we continued our nice conversation from the previous evening and it took us a while to get back on the trail. Lizard king, a SOBO thru hiker, had some good advice about the upcoming sections. The day continued to be tough and we hiked slow until late in the afternoon.
    Then we hit the sign that it's 500 miles to Kathadin. Just in time for another anniversary, day 100 on the trail. But the celebration has to wait until tomorrow because we're almost completely out of food. Just some oatmeals for tomorrow morning, olive oil and crushed red pepper :(
    For the last bit of the day we saved us a 2000 ft uphill hike to a ski resort. It has limited times in the summer so we were way to late for a snack at the restaurant. It's already our second night in a shelter as it is supposed to be raining heavily tonight and we don't want to risk it with our tent...
