Got my 30 day visa for Russia yesterday 18th July. Have done a practice pack... Amazing what you can fit if you use vacum packs and some muscle - I'm pretty sure I'm taking far too much!!!

Well, am officially here... Just had French breakfast (at a French restaurant named "Indiana") of croissant, tea, bread and apricot jam. Check in at 2 pm - a walk around then a lie down I think.

You enjoy Paris and all the culture it has to offer, but I assure you, the best bit is when you jump on that bike and sit there and think "to what part of Europe do I ride to now?"
