Wow! Amazing! Fantastic!
I will go straight to the highlight.
We saw a male and female orca hunting for food.
Absolutely incredible. Apparently you might see this once every two years.

Isabela island today.
Nice walk in the morning looking at the turtles and land iguanas followed by a cool dip in the ocean.
Its so humid you end up dripping in sweat. Luckily it was abit overcast.

We met him walking he would be quite old maybe 100 years old when you look into their eyes they are to me very sad looking Y seem to be very distant

The shell in the photo has about 16 different poisons in it which can kill you in seconds!
The turtle in the photo was an older male that died right on the path (possibly of old age) two years ago.

In the afternoon we had a zodiac ride around the mangroves seeing turtles penguins and birds.
If you zoom in on the penguin shot you can see birds in the background - they blend into the rocks.

Our naturalist was german but has lived in the Galapagos for over 30 years. Very knowledgeable and passinate about the wildlife and the landscape.

Miguel was very strong he was able to lift me straight of the boat no problem He hated guests bringing black sand back on the boat bit hard when its all volcanic

In the afternoon we went to a turtle breeding centre and then a lovely but hot walk back to the beach where my reward was a pina colada and a sea view!

What a wonderful cruise! Really fantastic.
If you want to see the Galapagos a cruise is the only way to go.
You can island hop and do day trips but you will spend long hours inЧитать далее

Have to wear glasses when reading as my left eye had a clot in it last year been having injections but have stopped since I had the stroke hope to start again soon always losing the glasses on strings now hate to lose them they are French & were a bargain at $450 AUD
