Just a 10km walk today

Today was sunny with a chilly wind which made the temperature quite deceptive on our 10km walk só we came back with sunburn.
Duwisib Castle

After unpacking we walked to the castle and had a look around. The castle was built in 1909 by an ex German soldier and they also brought 6000 hectares of land to start farming.

The Stone Horse Hike

After visiting Kolmanskop and luderitz we drove the 130km back to camp and then went on a 6km hike to see the stone horse from 600 meters up in the desert.

Giraffes in the road

This morning we were up early and took a drive to fish river canyon. This is situated in the richtersveld National park and we had to pay an entry fee of £27.
