Lord of the Ring Tour Part 1December 7, 2017 in New Zealand ⋅ ☀️ 21 °C
Today I went on a guided tour to many Lord of the Ring filming locations.
I actually decided to do it to save some time searching for them. And I have to say a few of them I would never found and the rest probably not even recognized 🙈
Our first stop was at Helms Deep and Minas Tirith. Both sets were built at exactly the same place after each other. Well, there is nothing that makes you recognize it at all.
Interesting was especially the information we got about how it was to film at these sets. Picture 1
Afterward, we went to Isengard. Same here. You recognize it when you know what you are looking for but otherwise, it's quite hard. Picture 2-4
Next stop was at the Hutt River where they filmed the part when Aragon's horse Brego found him and was laying down beside him so he can climb up on his back.Read more
