Am frühen Morgen verlassen wir mit dem ersten Zug Casablanca und sind gegen neun Uhr in Marrakesch. Das Hotel ist in den engen, verwinkelten Gassen nur schwer zu finden. Es ist eines der traditionellen alten Riads in der Innenstadt. Von der Dachterrasse aus planen wir bei einem Tee den Tag. Die Hauptattraktion ist heute der zerstörte Königspalast "Badi" gefolgt von einem Bummel durch den Markt. Dort kaufe ich noch eine billig hergestellte "originale" Nike-Tasche. ("Good price, just for you my friend!")

Early in the morning we leave Casablanca on the first train and arrive in Marrakech around nine o'clock. The hotel is difficult to find in the narrow, winding streets. It is one of the traditional old riads in the city centre. From the roof terrace we plan the day over tea. The main attraction today is the destroyed royal palace "Badi" followed by a stroll through the market. There I buy another cheaply made "original" Nike bag.
