    Théâtre Gallo Romain de Fourvière is a Roman theatre built on the hill of Fourvière. The theatre is part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site, protecting the historic centre of Lyon.

    The theatre was built in two steps: around 15 BC, a theatre with a 90 m diameter was built next to the hill. At the beginning of the 2nd century, the final construction added a final place for the audience. The diameter is 108 m, and there were seats for 10,000 people.

    Today the theatre is primarily a tourist site, but it is still used as a cultural venue. Each year, the Nuits de Fourvière festival takes place in the theatre.    Read more

The journey typically takes around 1 hour 25 minutes, with trains running regularly throughout the day. The Aix TGV station is notable for being located about 15 kilometres from Aix-en-Provence's centre, requiring a shuttle bus or taxi connection to reach the town itself.Read more

    Saint Chamas is a small village on the northern shores of the Etang de Berre. The village is divided into two parts by a hill riddled with caves. On one side, it looks out into a pine forest and hills and, on the other, onto a pleasant marina.

    The bastion of Saint Remy is a monument of Cagliari, located in the Castello district. At the end of the 19th century it was monumentally transformed into a stairway, surmounted by the triumphal arch, which gives access to a covered walkway and a large panoramic terrace.Read more
