El Chaltén - 2. Day

On my second day, I was full of energy, packed all my things and went on my first big hike alone. ✌️
This should lead me 9 km each way to Laguna Torre, a giant lake with a glacier close to it.

The route was challenging, mainly because I have no experience. In between it was very sunny and warm, then shady and cold again. 🤷‍♀️

But the effort was worth it, because the lake and the view of the glacier were unique. I made a little siesta and returned to El Chaltén.
