El Chaltén - Los Cóndores y Las Águilas

After having rested almost all day yesterday and recovering from the long hike, today I want to do two short hikes near El Chaltén.

So after breakfast, I started my hike to the two viewpoints (Miradores) Los Cóndores and Las Águilas. The walk takes about an hour and you can watch the condors flying from up here - unfortunately, I was not lucky and saw none.

You have a breathtaking view from above. On the one side of the mountains across the vastness of the Patagonian Pampa and on the other side to the little town of El Chaltén.

My adventures in El Chaltén end here because tomorrow, my bus goes back to El Calafate, where I will drive to the Perito Moreno Glacier on Friday.Read more
