Gt Alton to Saltburn-By-The-Sea

Left this morning feeling great with fresh clothes and new glasses 🤓. A quick stop at Captain Cooke monument then off again. Pretty steep climb rewarded with stunning views particularly of misty top roseberry topping hill. The mist created a fantastic photo opportunity so much so that we had to stop looking and crack on.
Further along the route we met a lady Zoe and her dog Poppy, very friendly and chirpy lady. We bopped in and out of each other’s company before walking the final hour or so together into Saltburn.
Great seaside vibe here albeit so much sea fog we couldn’t see the sea 😱 We finished the day with a walk along the promenade, chips at the pier and a beer at The Sitting Room. We could easily spend a few days here 😊😊😊Read more
