Day 1
Cracking First Day!

Day 1 is done and what a day it has been.An Early rise at 3:45am and ready to head for Glasgow airport. After the hectic venture of check in and security we managed to find the to time to have a lovely Scottish breakfast before getting the final call for our 7am flight to Reus. The Flight seemed brief and we were on the ground after 2 Hours 20Mins. After we finally got our luggage we headed to our transfer. We had to wait for another two flights to arrive then We were finally on our way to our hotel. We arrived at around 12:00 and we were promptly checked in and given our “All Inclusive” wrist bands. So we dumped our cases in our room and headed down for the 1300 buffet lunch! Then to the bar to make the most of the drinks! After unpacking we headed back down to the pool for a bit of sunbathing and snacks. We then got ready for dinner and went to the bar where the friendly bartender gave us an extra measure or two in our drinks. After dinner we went for a walk down the lovely front of salou and had a drink the ”Flower of Scotland” bar then back to the hotel for an early night ready to kickstart tomorrow with a trip to Tarragona!Read more

Tan Day!

Had a lovely peaceful day tanning by the pool at the hotel, Taking part in some swimming pool dancing and making the most of all inclusive food/drinks & ice cream! We then finished the night off by having a walk down the front browsing all the shops we hadn’t yet visited and a cheeky trip into the local McDonalds. Now sitting with some drinks on the balcony. Tomorrow we are headed for Port Aventura Aquatic Park!Read more

The Longest Day! St Johns Eve

So today was the longest day of the year in Spain. We decided to go down the front and do some shopping for family back home and had a cheeky wee McDonald’s while out. We came back to the hotel and hit the pool for a cool off. We then had dinner and went to the shop for a few kopperbergs to take up to the room to watch the firework display from the beach then the hotel had its very own fireworks display right in front of our balcony it was pretty loud but very exciting. 19.diena:Montblanc-Salou

Q17km. No rīta pat sapņos nerādījās, kāda izvērtīsies šī diena. Vairāku sakritību kopums aizved mani pie jūras. Tagad sēžu promenādē pie pludmales un rakstu. Viss sākas ar to, ka Montblanc ir 2 sporta veikaliņi, taču tur nav nekas man piemērots. Domāju, ko darīt - vajadzīga lielāka pilsēta. Viena tāda ir - Reus, uz piekrastes pusi. Sāku čekot, kā tur nokļūt. Izrādās, iet divi vilcieni dienā, un viens ir tieši pēc 20min. Reus ir Intersport un Decathlon. Tuvākais ir I-sport - 850m attālumā no stacijas. Tur ir tikai Salomoni un Lasportivas. Salomonus negribu un piemērotākās lasportivas ir 135 eināri. Nē, došos uz Dekatlonu. Tas vēl 2km uz austrumiem. Pa ceļam jāiet pāri viaduktam un pēkšņi es ieraugu jūru..... Vēl jāiziet cauri noplukušam arābu rajonam un esmu veikalā. Tur dabūju kaut cik piemērotus apavus un sāku čekot iespējas. Līdz jūrai tikai 9km. Iešu. Atrodu kempingu un google kartes man parāda īsāko ceļu. Ceļš gan nav baigi foršais - sākums cauri bomžatņikam un atkritumu kaudzēm (šī nav tā skaistākā Spānija) un pēc tam liels gabals pa šoseju. Kamēr šosejai ir paplata maliņa, ir ok, pēc tam maliņa pazūd un mēğinu iet nostāk, cauri dzeloņiem un gar olīvkoku dārziem. Vienā brīdī pretī brauc onka ar traktoru un aizrāda, ka es atrodoties privātā teritorijā. Man jāatgriežas atpakaļ uz šosejas. Iepriekš ik pa brīdim man garām padrāžas rallija mašīnas ar numuriem - tagad jau es zinu - rīt pludmalē, tieši pretī kempingam- tiks dots starts Spānijas rallija 3. Katalonijas posmam.
Kempings nereāli skaists. Rīt sabildēšu. Un ar vakara vilcienu došos atpakaļ kalnos.

Šodien nav kilometru, vismaz oficiālu. No rīta izstaigājos pa krastu un izlemju palikt šeit vēl vienu dienu - nedaudz atpūsties. Pa dienu 26º, ūdens kā piens - pēcpusdienā bikiņ pasauļojos, pāris reizes nopeldos un nolemju noskatīties pilnu saulrietu. Atrodu krodziņu ar vislabāko skatu, paņemu puslitru sangrijas un vēroju. Pie blakus galdiņa pavecāks velsiešu pāris sader at viesmīli (kurš izrādās ir ukrainis Dmitrijs), cikos saule pazudīs aiz kalna - viesmīļa 19:18 pret velsieša 19:19. Es tīri nejauši kļūstu par sekundantu un patiesība, izrādās, ir precīzi pa vidu, un velsietis, divu alus glāžu vietā, par velti dabū vienu. Nedaudz papļāpājam un atvadamies. Rīt gan atpakaļ kalnos. Dažas bildes:

3) Igauņu auto pēc rallija apbalvošanas
4) Garāmejot ieraudzīju rallija simulatoru. Forši, bet bikiņ pa īsu.
5) Skats uz vienu no pludmalēm.

Un visbeidzot, milzīgs lepnums par Emīlu, kurš LČ orientēšanās maratona distancē šodien izcīnīja 3.vietu!!!Read more

Von dort aus gewandert auf dem Camino de Ronda.
Der Küstenwanderweg zum Cap Salou.

Da uns Cambrils und Salou so gut gefällt, suchen wir uns heute einen Campingplatz zwischen den beiden Orten. Dieser Platz ist zwar nicht so schön und auch nicht direkt am Meer, aber eben zentral. Wir fahren am Nachmittag mit dem Rad nach Salou, bisschen shoppen und natürlich Eis essen ins La Ibense. Vom Eis gibt es kein Bild ich war zu gierig😂.Read more
