Koh Lipe

Leider hat meine Unterwasserkamera ab ca 10m Tiefe nicht mehr funktioniert. Sehr schade, da es darunter SO UNGLAUBLICH SCHÖN war!! Aber ein paar kurze Videos von oben hab ich trotzdem 🙂
Ausserdem hab ich nochmal um eine Nacht verlängert, weil ich unbedingt einen Ausflug auf Ko Adang machen wollte. Paul, den ich in meinem Hostel kennengelernt hab, begleitet mich. Mit dem Longtailboat lassen wir uns auf die Nachbarinsel bringen und dann gehts auffi aufn Berg. Naja, 200hm sind nicht soo hoch, aber genug um einen hammer Ausblick auf Koh Lipe zu haben. Wir genießen das schöne Platzl, sind ganz alleine, haben einiges zu quatschn und dann spricht mich von hinten jemand an: „Is e kloa, do geht ma auf an Berg und trifft die Österreicher“. Er aus NÖ 😅
Eigentlich esse ich vegetarisch, aber jetzt mach ich doch mal eine Ausnahme und teil mir mit Paul einen leckeren Fisch.Read more

Eine unvergessliche Erfahrung 🥰

Ohne große Vorbereitung ging es für uns direkt ins offene Meer.

Das Wetter war nicht so gut.... Doch unter Wasser haben wir davon nichts mitbekommen 😋

Statistik:
2 Tauchgänge a 40min.
Bis zu 12 Meter tief

Jetzt heißt es für uns LERNEN, denn in drei Tagen wollen wir den Tauchschein haben. Dazu müssen wir eine Abschlussprüfung ablegen und noch vier weitere Tauchgänge absolvieren. 😊🪼🪸🐚🦑🐙🦈🐡🐠🐟Read more

Day 52
Koh Lipe

9 a.m. - I booked my transfer to Langkawi in Malaysia and got some fancy breakfast afterwards.

11 a.m. - I went to the beach from yesterday because I planned another beach day. Suddenly Emma messaged me if I want to join them for a day trip Koh Adang. Another island near Koh Lipe. I joined them and we wanted to visit the waterfall there but the path wasn’t clear and we almost got lost so we decided to turn around. Instead we went to the beach and we got the hole beach just for us. It was super quite and calm. After we got some lunch we went snorkeling but it wasn’t good just sand and less corals or sea life. A local recommended us the other side of the beach for snorkeling. And it was way better. There was a hard coral reef and I saw too many Boxfish to count, some Pufferfish and Batfish.

5 p.m. - We got back to Koh Lipe and I had a phone call with my mum.

6 p.m. - I went out again for the sunset but it was disappointing so went back to a soccer field I saw on the way to the Sunset Beach to play some soccer with the locals. I played almost 2h and it was so fun. I mean the quality wasn’t that good because everyone did his own thing but I enjoyed to place soccer after a long time. The only problem was that I played barefoot of artificial grass.

8:30 p.m. - I was sweaty as fuck and my feet’s were black and hurt really bad. I got dinner and went back to the hostel afterwards. I took a shower and had a phone call with my mate.Read more

Day 4
Diving premieres

Today we were spending most of our day on a boat or under water.
In the morning we got onto our small diving boat and we were driven near a completly empty beach where our diving adventure began. Becca found nemo during the first dives of her open water certificate and Remo did the underwater navigation exercises for his advanced open water course. After two dives we enjoyed our thai lunch on the way back to koh lipe where we both had to study theory for our dive courses.
During the sunset Remo got into the water for his first night dive. It was an incredible experience to find so much wildlife in the light beams of the flashlights. Shotly before terminating the dive we were covering all flashlights up to discover another miracle in the darkness of the sea. Waving our hands made biolumiscent plankton shine like the sparks of a campfire.
Last but not least we ended our day together again with a nice dinner on the beach.

Rechtziitig bim Sunneuntergang isch de Remo abtaucht zu sim erste Nachttauchgang. Es isch e unglaublich schöni erfahrig gsi zum all die Tier im Lichtstrahl vo de Taschelampe z entdecke. Zum Schluss vom Tauchgang sind alli Taschelampe abdeckt worde zum s nögste Wunder vom dunkle Ozean z entdecke. Bim bewege vo üsne Händ hets bioluminiszierends Plankton gha wo glüchtet hend wie d Funke vomne Lagerfür.
