The finaly day

Leaving Karsruhe quiet on time, I headed further north to Mainz and Frankfurt.
I stopped in Frankurt for a nice lunch break. Before getting home, I stopped at the trusted Fressnapf and got some Torgas Czytaj więcej
Passing the beautiful Swiss

From Milano I continued my journey home passing Swiss. I had to get the vigniette and luckily crossed the boarder without being checked :) Well nothing serious since I was crossing Swiss anyway only. Czytaj więcej

Since I was already in Milano, I had to explore the city. For the 3 hours I was there, I experienced a lot.
Found a charging station. Got through the chaos of the traffic. Saw a FFF demonstration. Czytaj więcej

24 hours, later, 23 hours according to timeline change..
Before leaving the boat, there was one more challenge. Finding the car. Because of all the stress with the tight parking, I completely forgot Czytaj więcej
24 hours on the ferry

With a cabin, everything is so much nice, because you have this personal area where you can always can get back to, leave your stuff and relax.

Leaving Athens

Actually I wanted to go for a run outside or on the treadmill in the morning and then slowly getting ready to go - no run though. But then my uncle called and wanted to come over for a last coffee. So Czytaj więcej
Preparing to go home

Charging the car, doing some local sightseeing with my cousin and packing things. Quiet relaxing - as I tough - since I had to leave for Patras only at noon the next day.
Sightseeing Athens

I just need to go to Acropolis every time am in Athens. It’s just so nice to walk this roots where the foundation of the world we live in where initiated. This time I was very lucky with the timing. Czytaj więcej

Right, I was quiet optimistic, that I would be able to get a bed on the ferry. Remember, on the inbound drive, I could last minute book one onsite. This time I was even better prepared to remediate my Czytaj więcej
The day of leaving the Greek Islands

The last day on Kos I walked around the town Center, chilled out at the beach and eventually gave back the rented Scooter. Actually nothing worth mentioning, but overall a quiet good last day - Czytaj więcej

What a fantastic week, so many things happened, so much experience gained, so much learned.

Last day offshore

After topping up fuel and getting some bottles of water and so, we chilled a bit close to the Marina of Kos. That was indeed a good idea, because the queue at the petrol station got longer and longer Czytaj więcej
The Vulcano - an active one

Special about Nisiros is that it is a volcano which is still active and where you can walk on the crater. Don’t expect any lava, but smoke coming out of earth. To get there, I decided to not party Czytaj więcej
Heading to Nisiros

So finally tail wind and perfect conditions for the Gennaker.. With that we had a chill day on the sea and arrived at Nisiros Island at this small village called Paloi. We had with all the boats a Czytaj więcej
And Astypalaia

After this nice hike we were ready to head to Astypalaia. Wind and waves were similar like the previous day, but, at least no cross waves and tailwind. So this sail was way more comfortable. Czytaj więcej
It is getting rough

With wind speed of more then 24, we put sails and head to Astypalaia. Well that’s what we planned that morning. Strong wind is one thing, but getting cross waves for hours, and Garmin GPS measured Czytaj więcej
Patmos here we come

Enjoying the nice wind, before it gets rough. Our sail to Patmos was really nice and arrived there a “traditional” Paella was in the making. Delicious as always. Because I can just not not explore Czytaj więcej
Macronisia - a night drive

Even though Leros was such a beautiful island, we decided to not sleep there and got on board to sail to Macronisia. A wonderful lonely island 14 nm away from Leros, no people live there. But we saw Czytaj więcej
Let get to Leros

So next would be Leros Island. A special Island for me where I always wanted to go to and in fact it is lovely. See the pictures. People are so friendly and it is nicely maintained.
Hoist the sails

As expected, Dodecanese Islands have awesome wind and we headed over to Kalymnos. Arrived there we had a nice dinner made on board and hence I was missing the exploring the island thing. So I went on Czytaj więcej

After hanging a bit on the veranda of the hotel, talking to my new friends eventually the rest of the crew arrived. Some issues to get a taxi for 7 but eventually they did it. You got to know that Czytaj więcej
Kalymnos #1

You may have understood that Kos impression was not that great, too touristic, too busy, too not genuine.
Kalymnos is different. People are friendly, love their island and take good care of it. Czytaj więcej
Discovering Kos City

So arrived early in the morning. I love to experience Islands in the very early morning hours. All is quiet and you few busy people who follow their traditional work. Let’s say, the tourism has not Czytaj więcej
Kos here we come - well not all at once

Going to Kos Island to meet the crew on Friday for sailing. Pretty much the main reason of going to greece.
Said, this time no planes and that’s why I chooses the ferry.

Tredmill & Porto Rafti

Another Tredmill run at my cousins place and then off to Porto Rafti to meet my little cousin :)
Had a coffee / tea and went for some nice Greek veggies.
Running day

Though I was on the road for 5 days, kept my running schedule on the treadmills in the hotels but running outdoor is so much nicer even if I felt the tiredness.
