Itas - walk to the back of the stones

    October 18, 2017 in Bolivia ⋅ ⛅ 30 °C

The Itas is basically a collection of natural stone carvations at the top of the hill
There are many interesting formations in the shape of caves and natural arches. From the start of the boulders to the emd of the trail is abou 1 kms. There is a small cave at the start of the trek but there were people inside there so we decided to go to the end first.
On the way, we saw some lovely flowers that had bloomed due to the rains in the last 2 evenings. Our guide Timoteo told is that these from the family of onions. On the way we saw some interesting stone shapes as well.
