Mirador Arena Gruesa

From the fort, we walked to the Mirador Arena Gruesa. This is a viewpoint overlooking the Gruesa beach. There is an amphitheater like arena next to the beach where concerts seem to be held. Opposite the viewpoint, there is a small hill where it was possible to climb and have a view of the beach from the other end. All the while, we had our eyes peeled to the ocean as well since one can spot dolphins, sea lions and sometimes whales from the land only. Unfortunately, we didn't have any such luck.Read more
